They're the biggest snake native to the US and are surprisingly tame, even in the wild. They have STRONG jaws, though, strong enough to crush the skulls of their prey (the bigger ones eat venomous snakes in the wild).
But for my next Colubrid its either going to be a Rat (havnt decided what kind but i really want a lucy, or i might just roll old school and get a classic texas rat) or a Bull (im aiming for a hypo or a regular, whatever i can get my hands on first). And im also really liking the albino checkered garter.
The next reptile expo is in 4 days up here and i will see what they have to offer on Colubrids, tho i bet its just going to be flooded with BP's
