    Is it normal for a bp to soak

    Is it Normal for a BP to soak in it's water bowl all day?
    My new Bp has been soaking in his water bowl all day just curious if its normal.

    No its not normal. His hide may be too big. The temps might not be correct. Humidity could be too low. He could have mites. Could be dehydrated. If ur husbandry and everything is correct u will almost never see a bp soaking, unless its a weird one
    A room full of empty racks and thermostats that have been unplugged.

    He just started this today,and hasn't left his water bowl once,
    I keep fresh water for him,and i keep check of the heat etc,it stays about 75 or so.
    He looks very healthy fed him Monday.
    My Normal BP never does this at all, The guy i got him from at the expo said he's a dinker.
    I don't think its shed because his colors are to vibrant,And my other Ball Keegan just got done with his. Help?

    Have you checked for mites? That is one of the number one reasons you will see a snake soaking. Oh yeah, a Dinker is nothing more than a glorified normal. Wether a snake is a normal or a morph doesn't determine if they soak or not.
