I have an idea of what you're feeling right now. In september we had to put down our dog Tucker. It was very unexpected. He had a toumer and we didn't even know he was sick untill a couple hours before he passed on. The last moments you described with your cat are pretty much identical to mine with Tucker. He was 10 years old. Way too short of a life of such a special doggie. Tho it was three months ago, I still feel pain every time I come home and he's not there to greet me, or when I look at his empty food bowl and bed I'm just not ready to put away yet. One thing that really helped me feel better was buying some picture frames and hanging my favorite pictures of him around the house. It makes me happy to look at them and remember all the good times we shared. I'm sure your cat loved you dearly, and will always be with you in spirit.

    I love my pets.
