    Vision V70 question

    I've just bought a vision v70 11 stack rack.
Some of my smaller snakes are around 250-300g.
They are currently in smaller containers.
I don't wanna freak them out by putting them straight into the v70 tubs.
I was thinking of making "dividers" to split the tubs into 3 sections, with holes in for the snakes to pass through.
Has anyone tried anything like this?
    Is it a good idea?
    Thanks

    Re: Vision V70 question

Providing you have access to two sides of the rack you can have Hatchling, V-35 and V-70 tubs all in the same rack, at the same time. The V-35 tubs and Hatchling tubs open via the long side and the V-70 tubs via the short side. The V-35 tubs will go straight into the V-70 rack. You just have to alter the heat cable to suit. You can also buy a side bar from Vision to close the V-70 entry. The hatching tubs need shorter spacers which you can get from Vision or make from plastic pipe. You can also get tub locks from Vision. Give Vision a call - Scott is extremely helpful.

Unfortunatley I've only got access to the front of the rack. It between a wall and a wardrobe.
Do you think it would be a better idea to provide the smaller snakes with 3 hides, rather than dividing the tubs into sections?
    Thanks

To make the tub seem smaller, you just need to break up the visual lines. Take a few sheets of newspaper, loosely crumple them, and fill the tub. It doesn't impair movement of the snake, it is easy to clean/replace and it makes the snake feel like it is in a much smaller and more secure cage.

In the CB70 tub, I would use maybe 5 or 6 sheets to fill that visual space.

This works great for new arrivals, shy animals, and lizard species as well.
