How many times do you pair them with no lock?
I have two pairs that I pair every Tuesday and separate them every Friday. So far I have yet to see a lock. So do I continue trying until the end of the season, or do I give up at some point?

You could always throw another male in with her and watch for mating behaviors. If you see them, remove the male and put your intended male in with her. I've also heard of using the scent of another male to encourage the intended male to mate.

What mating behaviors am I looking for?

If I have a desired pairing in mind, I pair until I see a lock. My male cinny isn't showing ANY desire to play with my females, but I'll get him there darnit
Mating behaviors to look for, would be the male intently sniffing the female ( short constant tongue flickers ) the male moving/laying on top of the female, and sometimes you catch the female "opening up" and her tail moving/flickering around. I tend to see the last behavior in my female retics and burms more than any of my other snakes.
I hope this helps.

I have seen my male laying on top of my female a few times. Once I thought it was weird my female was laying in her bowl and he was just laying right on top of her. And I have never seen him in his water bowl ever.

rub sperm plug of another male on your male. that has worked for me before. Seems like he's just nervous or something or maybe she isnt letting him. Also try pairing when she is in shed.

I just had a 2010 lock for the first time last week and have been pairing him since Oct.
