Techno gets me pumped. I used to listen to sandstorm over and over during swim practice to get me going.

It depends on what I'm doing.

Relaxing, or enjoying my day? Gwar, Three Days Grace, Amon Amarth, other various rock/metal bands.

Playing online games, such as shooters, or MMO's (PVP), then it's usually Ska, or other pop-ish music. Hey if I'm competing, to take out the other team, I need a beat to it. Operation Ivy, Lady Gaga, and Eminem are a few of what I listen to while 'shooting to the beat'

I mostly listen to jam bands, some electronic music, and indie/alternative rock
Just to name a few: Umphrey's McGee, Disco Biscuits, Deadmau5, Rusko, Mumford and Sons, Fleet Foxes, Grizzly Bear, Moe., String Cheese Incident, STS9.. I'll be very impressed if anyone is familiar with any of the jam bands.
I'm not a big fan of jam bands but I can more than appreciate grizzly bear, fleet foxes, mumford and sons, and STS9, but I wouldn't consider any of them jam bands.
