Thank you everyone! I'm happy to report that after much pestering on my part, FedEx called the driver and had him bring her straight over. They claimed not to realize that it was a "live animal" even though it clearly said so on the box.
When the guy walked up to the door he was bouncing the box around like it was any old parcel and I immediately snatched it out of his hands saying, "It's alive!" He proceeded to respond with..."Oh!"Some people are beyond stupid.
But she made it no worse for wear! She had a poop while she was in the box, so I was in for a bit of a smelly surprise when I opened it. LOL! But as soon as I opened the bag she immediately came slithering out onto the towel I had placed, looked up at me, and wrapped her tail around my hand. It was by far one of the cutest things a new snake has ever done when meeting me. No biting! Yay! lol.
I snapped a couple of pictures, and then put her in her new tank and covered it partially with some towels so that she feels more secure. She's in the blue at the moment, but still gorgeous! She then took the biggest drink of water I have ever witnessed a snake taking. She's adorable, and since she has a couple of "X"s in her pattern, her name is Xena. <3
I'll post pics after I get them off my camera. :3
