Really? Why would you say that?

If you read Alex's first post, his snake lost 12% of it's pre-fast weight over 5 months which = 2.4% per month.

What I posted outlined about 2 to 2.5% lost per month as an acceptable safe guideline with the caveat that rapid weight loss is never good. The OPs snake has lost 100 grams in two months. Without knowing what the starting weight of the animal is, we have no way of knowing whether this is significant or not.

    Get it?

Thre was a deleted post about weight loss in people that had nothing to do with your post. I think you know what you're talking about.

I don't have a set number on how much weight they can lose, I just go by look. If they have noticeably have lost weight and aren't looking well that's when I start to worry and do everything I can to get them eating. Including: changing hides, putting them in smaller tubs, feeding them different types of prey items, etc. Otherwise, if they still look healthy, I don't change anything.

I had a male that ate maybe 4 times in a 6 month period. I had to pull him from breeding because he lost half his body weight and looked horrible. He still doesn't look that great since he doesn't care to eat all the time, and I suspect he will stop eating for me this breeding season again.

    See ^^^

It's just an advertising troll that says random ridiculous things that have nothing to do with a thread.
