    You'd be surprised just how right the movie's get it some time..When I worked for the bank we were told a story by One of the Federal Reserve Security officers during our briefing. He said that a production company for one of the "Die Hard" movies cause the New York Federal Reserve branch to be close and complete remodeled. Seems they contacted the branch and asked to tour it for general ideas about layout and security. Well not only were they allowed to tour it but they were given plans to the main lobby and the gold vault. So they figured why not make it realistic and built the set per the Fed's plan's, right down to the camera and security key pad locations, As a result the movie features a to scale, per Fed Spec's replicia of the old New York Federal Reserve Branch and it's Gold Vault..So when the movie came out, the proverbial POOP flew..
