    BP only used cold hide

Im a new bp keeper. Ive noticed that my bp only uses his cold side hide. he will go over to the warm side but only climb on top of the hide. i have an uth and a infra red lamp and keep the thermostat on the hot side at 90. The ambient temp is about 82 and the humidity ranges from 50-70. is this a normal thing for them to do. I just got the snake sunday and it used the warm side hide for a day or two then switched to the cold side hide.

This sounds pretty normal to me. I keep my snakes in tubs and I really only see them on the warm side after they have eaten. Most of the time, they seem to favor the cooler side.
