    Sorry the wife interupted before I could finish
    I really prefer F/T rats far easier to feed that way. I just take the rodents out of the freezer and into the fridge the night before a little warm water then blow dryer to heat the rodent and scent the room. I heat to about 95-100 degrees F and BAM snake food. No rats to feed just a cooler in the freezer. If he is eating F/T now then by all means keep it up. To switch to rats get a mouse and rat the correct size. Freeze and thaw the rat in a bag with the mouse. Rub the mouse all over the rat as you blowdry it. This will scent the room with both scents then offer the rat. If the snake won't take it you have a thawed mouse to feed and try again the next week. Most of mine switched easily but I got one who is giving me a heck of a time switching. Good luck and feel free to ask if you have more questions
