    Re: What is she worth?

IMHO most het pieds do not look normal. If you are 100% sure of her pied parent then of course you know she is a het pied and just happens to be one of the normal looking ones but it would have helped you sell her if she had the classic het pied belly (three scale wide white belly with solid dark lines at the edges).

Also, many het hypos show too. Did you notice about half the clutch being much lighter colored than the other half at hatching? If she was one of the light ones you might want to hang on to her as she might be worth more to you as a very likely double het pied hypo than she would be to a potential buyer as a 50% possible double het.

Couldn't he also check for a possible ringer? I'd say between 300 and 400 shipped... That's just from what I have been seeing. If you really want to sell her quick you could say 300 shipped. Remember she is a female too!

So you're saying you think shes double het pied 50% hypo? She is the lightest of the clutch, has alot of blushing and orange sides aswell.

It's technically not a double het yet. If the het ghost is proven, then you could call her a double het. Right now she is a 100% het pied 50% het ghost. I think $250-$300 would be a fair price, pos hets go for just barely over normal price. A lot of breeders have been throwing 50%, even 100% het pieds in with normals and selling them as normals. That's why so many people end up with hets by accident.
