My NERD Black Blood Python

A few weeks back, I won this little girl in an auction through NERD. She is awesome! Very sweet snake, both in attitude and appearance...I shared a picture of her last night when I was changing water, but I decided to snap a few more pictures...She's about 18" to 24" long and eating small rats..

Thanks! I came across my first Borneo at a local shop i worked at in 2001-2002. He was a real jerk (quite possibly captive raised. definitey not captive born.) The temperment of these snakes have come a long way since then. This girl is like picking up a ball python. Sure, they tilt their head up and it looks threatening when you pick them up if you don't understand them, but they always do that. its all about reading the signs and 95% of the time you can avoid the bite.

awwww i almost bid on her too but i decided i didnt need a 3rd blood project haha. She is beautiful!! What a cutie great markings. I have 5 bloods (2 Borneos and 3 Sumatrans) Sweetest babies ever. Only time they struck was at a coffee cup and spray bottle... thems dangerous things.
