how long after he eats should our BP poop?
ok. gomez appears to be getting back on track with feeding. he ate 5 mice 5 days ago (last sunday) and 1 mouse + 1 fuzzy a week before that. took them like a CHAMP! he hasnt pooped yet. we held him 2 nights ago and it felt like the 'food' had moved down like it was all stacked up just above his vent. his belly is also very pink so i know hes going into shed. we were wondering when we should expect a poop after all those mice and if he dosent poop before hes due to be fed should we hold off? we want to feed again monday or tuesday night. were just starting to get a routine going and dont want to mess it up but dont know if we need to wait.

Well, if he is about to shed, expect a brown smelly shed... LOL
But in my experience (whichis next to none, I only own 1 BP), when I fed mice, she pooped them a week after.. No exceptions. Now that she's on rats, she's going like once every 3-4 weeks (and I'm feeding bigger an more frecuently).

Thank you! I switched to rats a couple months ago and was wondering why there's a longer time in between poops. She last pooped a little over a week ago and I was like "what...?" If I was waiting until she pooped to feed her again she wouldn't be gaining over 100 grams a month. She's gained 100 grams in a month even after skipping a week

Re: how long after he eats should our BP poop?
I have a fire that did the same thing. She ate 6 in a week! Then it took her about 2 weeks to poop. the last 3 days before she pooped I gave her a warm bath. So basically, hold off on feeding until it poops. bp's can go over a month w/o pooping. but if you want to help it out(especially since it went on an eating binge, Lol), let it swim in some luke warm water for a few minutes a night. It took 3 baths after almost 2 weeks to get my girl to go. But be warned, most of the time, RIGHT AFTER the bath, it will :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: all over the place.

This^^^^ They poop when they poop. Unless you notice something obviously wrong or exaggerated with their pooping cycle than its nothing to pay too much attention to.
