Unfortunately this kind of thing happens all the time. The most you can do is speak to the manager and tell them why you are so appalled, and try to educate them. Most people try and buy snakes like this to "save" them, but all that ends up happening is they continue the lack of husbandry and replace it with a new snake. Try talking to the manager, maybe you'll get lucky and have someone who actually gives a crap about them
