    Mocha

I have been able to find out very little about this morph. Could someone please tell me what makes a mocha a mocha? I know what it makes but not what defines it. Like with a pastel you got the green eyes, white belly, brighter coloration on good examples of it. So if anyone has any good pics of a mocha and could do a brief write up on them I would be extremely happy. That is all.

Here is a picture of a Mocha:

Mocha's are one of the morphs that are very hard to tell apart from normals. Some things to look for are:

    -pattern is pretty consistent
    - The head has a lightened spot
    - I have noticed that the back stripe is generally lighter than the rest of the snake. The picture I posted shows that.

That's all I can say, Mocha's are difficult to define.

Mochas I hatched out this season. As babies, you can tell them apart easy.

AS adults, to the average eye they could be hard to tell. When we saw this adult female for the first time, we knew right away she was not normal even though the pictures make her look like a nice normal.
This first picture of her looks more like her real color.

This second picture of her was a quick pic with terrible light but give you the idea.

    Re: Mocha

Ok so I am pretty sure that we picked up a male Mocha at a show that someone didn't really know what it was. It has unknown origins so I know breeding it out is the only way to know for sure. I will get some pics of him in a bit after I find my camera and post them here to see what is thought of him.

Hopefully it turns out to be a Mocha, but don't count on it, especially if it comes from unknown origins. Sometimes they look like normals.
