I won't spoil the episode for you guys but lets just say its not the most accurate depiction of a ball python, except for that cute little face! There is a happy ending for the snake though

I saw that episode and all I could think was "owning snakes has ruined TV for me."

Lol I know. Every time I see a TV show or movie with snakes or other reptiles I always end up regaling my friends with information about them XD

There's an episode in an earlier season where she handles a fairly large jungle carpet python. (The voodoo curse episode, for those who care to look it up - my apologies for not being able to specify an exact season and episode number.) Also, she casually gets a medium sized burmese out of her way in one of the early episodes of season 6. One of my favorite shows for a long time, but I'm finding that lately I'm less into it than I used to be. Maybe it's that in the season I'm currently in (6 - watching it on Blu-ray), they have Brennan trying to make too many jokes, which really doesn't fit with her character...

Hah, I feel the same way about guns - I'm always like "Get your finger out of the trigger guard, idiot!" (Never supposed to have your finger in there unless you're actively pulling the trigger, and LOTS of TV and Movies get that wrong, showing cops & federal agents committing exactly that error, when they should all be trained not to.)
