My boyfriend about a year ago got a normal BP and I told him I was never going to touch that thing (I almost got bit 4 times by my friends snake, so I'm not very trust worthy of them, at least then I wasn't). Then after see him handle her for a couple of weeks and seeing that she was very nice even if you were to accidentally flinch, I gave it a chance. Since then I'm not so scared of them and his normal BP (named her Fluffy lol) is the sweetest of them all. I loved the pin style pattern. It to me was an elegance pattern and I thought it to be gorgeous! So for months and months he (boyfriend) saw me look at the pet store pin every time we went to get Fluffy food. And one day he surprised me with her
