Not many in my collection I can handle. Some of the ones that don't have a potent amount of venom in my collection are either too defensive or skiddish to mess with. The Old World tarantulas have the most potent venom and can send you to the hospital. You need to be waaaaay more concerned if you have an allergic reaction to the bite. No reported deaths that I know of have ever came from a tarantula bite though. But the experiences from the bite is very, very, very painful and reoccuring symptoms can last for weeks to months after the initial bite.
