Interesting head spot... Im familar with it usually with my pieds and fires...
Things like that can vary per snake. Normals come in LOTS and LOTS of different shades, blushing, contrasts, patterns etc. Im sure others have normals with this kind of head spot as well.
Your snake also has a nice reduced pattern and barely any "alien heads" that I can see.
He/she would be worth dinking around with in the future.

Im a bit confused on your "browning out" question...I guess I really only hear people taking about this with pastels mostly.
All snakes will differ in color as they grow older but I wouldnt say a normal "browns out" I guess. I would say they color change slightly as adults after maybe a couple years or so depending on the snake and size? Maybe I just dont get the question lol. Anyways good luck with him!
