    For hobby breeders it makes sense (to a degree) lol.

    Bumblebees being double gene morphs will make the following when bred to a normal.

    25% Bumblebees,
    25% Spiders,
    25% Pastels,
    25% Normals.

    75% chance of getting a morph.

    Most small breeders start out with normal females and build their collection that way. I got a buddy who owns a successful breeding company (I wont say which one) But he still has five normal females that he breeds in with his males every year.
