Moving right in the middle of shed...

I really hope he finishes before the big day. He's at the end of it, eyes just cleared up, but Wednesday's the day. The only time he's snapped at me is during shed, (oh yeah! and when he had mites) so I just know he's gonna be a little butt. Well, I guess I probably would be too if all my skin were peeling off...

maybe if you soak him today & tomorrow for 10-20 minutes it will speed up the process

either way good luck lol I feel bad for your ball who might be shuffled and moved around during shed - stressful

Soaking them while they are still in shed actually makes it harder for them to shed well. Soaking should only be done as a last resort after they have shedded the majority of their skin.

Good luck! One of my snakes was in shed when she was shipped to me and it was a pain getting the stuck shed off

I may add that soaking your snake isn't good for the essential oils between the skins that help them shed. It also will not help speed up the process, all snakes will shed whenever they are ready to do so.

If the eyes have cleared up, I expect the snake to shed by tomorrow or Wednesday.

Yes, PLEASE do not soak your snake.

Either way, it should be fine Don't worry. If you spot it shedding when you are getting ready to move, leave him there for the next trip and should be done by then. No biggie.

You like to worry too much

Oh, Jessica, you dont even know! I drive my husband nuts with my worrying!! I'm actually not all that worried about his shed, just commenting on it.

I only soak after shed if it was a bad one, with the roughest hand towel I can find!

I'm def expecting him to shed by tomorrow, he's looking ripe for it.
