Congrats! I can't wait to see pictures of the mystery snakes.
I'm done for the next few months (hopefully >_<), so nothing is coming in for me tomorrow.
I'm not so sure you really want to hear my first experience with snakes being shipped, but I'm gonna tell it anyways. I got my first snakes shipped to me in March of this year, it was my spotnose pair (Bonnie and Clyde). Fall/Winter/Spring in Wisconsin can be cold and I should have asked that the breeder wait to ship them, but I didn't. When I got them I was terrified that they were dead because they were so cold. My hands were shaking so bad as I tried to get the snake bags open. Thankfully they were both okay, just really cold, but in my rush to make sure they were fine I got them mixed up because I didn't think to look for markings on the bags as to which was the female and which was the male. For the longest time I didn't know which one was Bonnie and which one was Clyde.
My story isn't one you really want to hear when it comes to receiving your first shipment, but they got here just fine and every shipment I've had since has gone really well.![]()
