Dumbo rat?
Do you think this rat has dumbo ears? I've never seen one in person so I figured I'd get a second opinion.

Also I'm having issues understanding rat fur color genetics. I want to make more grey rats but I think I'll need another grey rat to make more? Is that rat? What other color rats could I use to make grey rats.

Looks like a dumbo to me You don't need more blues to make blues.

What do I need to breed her to?
I've been trying to read and understand all of this: http://www.afrma.org/ratgenwhatif.htm
But I'm not sure if my males are champagne or beige.

Blue is recessive, if you've got a blue male get a female of any color and make babies and hold back the females and breed dad to them to make more blues.
If you've got a blue female breed any color male to her and hold back a baby male to raise and breed him back to mom for more blues.
Blue rats are what got me into the pet rat breeding business and is still one of my favorite colored rats.

And yes your rat looks like a dumbo eared rat, another recessive trait

The easiest way to tell if they are champagne or beige is to look at their eye color. If they have pink eyes they are champagne if they have dark red(ruby)/black eyes they are beige. A beige rat is a black rat with red eyes. When beiges are young their eyes may look pink, but they darken with age. Mine seem to have dark eyes once they are a couple months old.
If you got them from a petstore they are probably beiges.
One of my first rats was a blue, she was a sweet heart. Good luck

Depends on the genes they carry and what color they are.
Siamese is recessive so if the male doesn't carry Siamese you will get kits that all carry Siamese.
Variegated is a pattern
