Better start training your patience my friend. You have that ovulation wait, then prelay shed, then ~30 wait for eggs, then that dreaded 55 day wait...all about patience when dealing with such delicate animals

But the LEAST I want to see is a lock! lol
That would hold me over until ovulation.
I know its crazy how rewarding it is once those little heads start pipping.

    Impatient

It's still early. I just started getting locks last week. Although it is possible they have locked and you missed it, just be patient and you will see locks before you know it!

Congrats on your lock! This is my first year breeding as well. What I did was lowered my temps mid-September, started pairing October 1st and already have logged in my computer 4 locks between my Normal x Fire (lasted more than 6 hrs), 3 locks with my Caramel Albino X Fire (lasted more than 10hrs, one more than 18hrs), 2 locks with my Spider X Caramel and 1 lock with my Normal X Spider. So, for my first year im doing pretty good. I lower the temps night time to 81 and then day time to 92-93. They are on flexwat, so I allow a few degrees in between them and the actual temp in the bin. My humidity is at 65. I put the male in there for 3 days, if I see a lock I leave him in until he is done. If no lock is seen, then I remove him and give him one day to rest. So far so good, but until I see ovulation, I will keep pairing!
