I need some advice
So I don't have enough room and don't have a dimmer or anything so I quarantine my snake by having in on the other side of my collection, using the same thermostat. When I had my old cheap rack, the temps in the tubs were same as the quarantine tub. When I changed my snake rack into a melamine rack, the temperature of the snake rack is different from the quarantine tub. What should I do? Should I put the new snake in my rack in order to keep all temps even or just keep it quarantined? I sprayed provent a mite in the snake rack and the quarantine tub and so far no mites in the quarantine tub. OH just to let everyone know the heating source that I'm using for the quarantine tub is heat tape that is the same length as the heat tape in the rack.

What are the temps of both racks?

one is like 90 the other is 82-83. I have hardwood floor and the temps in my room can be cold in winter and really hot in the summer.

It depends on how well you know the person you bought it from. Like I said in my response to your other post, I have one person I buy from that I don't QT with, because I've known him a long time and never have any doubts with his animals. But if its anyone else, I QT. There's more than just mites you QT for. Internal parasites, RI's, etc.
I hope this helped you any.

True about what you said about looking at internal parasites, RI's, etc, but the temperatures right now could cause RI. And I've heard nothing of good reviews from this breeder saying their snakes were mite free and healthy. The other snakes that I have bought from other breeders were all fine during the quarantine process. I'm just asking should I risk the temperature difference just for quarantine.

Temps of 82 to 83 won't hurt the snake. We heat our room to 82 to 83 and have no heat in or racks without any issues.

I agree, 82-83 won't kill them. Generally the risk for URI is 75 or below. I would keep them at lower temps before I would mix them with my established collection. Some breeders drop temps to 75-80 for breeding....
