I have purchased most of my collection from BHB. I've never had a problem with Brian or any of his staff being rude to me. He can be difficult to get a hold of at times, but other than that I have always had great experiences with him. He has gone out of his way to help answer any questions that I have had....

Talked with both several times. Bought from BHB once(twice?). Asked questions of both at shows AFTER saying "I don't have any money to spend, but could I ask you..." and both took time to listen and discuss issues with me. Never had rudeness from either.

Emailed BHB, but I can't remember if I've ever emailed Markus Jane, but never gotten rudeness then either.

Sorry if you've had a bad experiance. I'd be mystified as to why you seem to have had bad experainces with both?

Have you actually had experience with rudeness with these two people or are you just stating them in general because they are more successful breeders?

I have purchased many snakes from Mark and he has been nothing but pleasent. More then that, he has helped me through a lot even when I wasn't looking to spend money at the time.

I haven't had any transactions with Brian.

May I ask why you are asking this question?

I've bought from BHB and talked to a couple of the staff. Despite being extremely busy at the time of calling they took the time to answer my questions. In my experience they were very helpful and polite, more than I expected to be honest considering I was only inquiring after a lower end ratsnake.

After spending time with Brian, Lori, Jade, Chewy in Daytona, and having talked to Brian not in a customer - businessman fashion I can say that I found both Brian and his family and the crew that I met to be just as nice as they seem.

As for Mark Mandic I can't say as I've never dealt or spoken with him..

    just my two cents

if by rudess (?) you mean not calling you back when you leave a message because of their very busy schedule, but that to me doesn't mean their rude, just busy. Other than that where is this coming from?

I have delt with bhb and had a great experience. I talked with Lori on the phone and she was good to deal with. They let me have my wife pick up a couple corns in person from their shop with no questions asked. Good people if you ask me

    Re: BHB and Markus Jane

Brian at BHB invited my wife and I over to their facility and they were all incredibly friendly and helpful. We must have spent the better part of 5 or 6 hours their and he pretty much let us look at anything we wanted to see...Even though he knew we only wanted to buy a female Pin. Super guy!

P.s. The Pinstripe we picked up is super healthy and a second to none feeder!

I think it is incredibly rude coming on a large ball python forum and making unsubstantiated accusations without any proof.
