On the serious side though, the breeder is very experienced, and local, so I'm comfortable starting out with a more aggressive species with him around for questions and help. They're beautiful T's, but definitely one of the animals that are a "look and don't touch" sort of pet. I've heard that Brazilian black tarantulas tend to be pretty mellow compared to others, so that'll probably be the next pickup. Can't see it stopping there though, they're fascinating critters. What species of T you getting?
