I use a remote thermometer on my incubator. When I built it, I tested it by moving the sensor around to different areas and checking the temps. If you test it under the conditions you plan on incubating and the temps are steady through out the incubator, you should be fine. Be sure to have a small fan to circulate the air and water bottles to stabilize the temps.

Also, those remote thermometers are great because you do not have to open the incubator to check the temperature.

If your room got down any lower, you might have a concern but in the 60's and 11 inch flexwatt, you could do fine.
