Is she a very brown pastel or a nice pastel?

I have a lot of trouble with pastels. I have one pastel that I know is a but above the rest and some others that I consider to be decent/average pastels, but my lemon pastel confuses me. She's about 800-900g right now and I didn't get her as a 70-100g hatchling like I did the rest of my pastels so I can't tell if she is a nice pastel or not. To me she looks brown, but I know all pastels brown out to some degree. So to those of you who are experts, is she a decent pastel?













Compared to my pastel yellow belly who is a about 300g smaller, she just doesn't look that nice, but I know that isn't a fair comparison.

I think she's really nice, looking at the yellow on her sides and the blushing on her back. a little brown doesn't hurt when they're bigger, in my opinion. she's still really bright and the brown isn't real dark.

IMO, that's a really nice example of a pastel

she looks almost exactly like my jungle pastel male they tend to have more brown on the top beatifull snake tho

But she is monster when it comes to food. She ate the day I got her in and other day when I opened her tub to check her water levels she came flying out looking for a rat.

looks pretty average progression to me, by no means low quality, just average.

I think she is nice looking pastel. The fact the isn't as bright as your others just means that you have some very nice pastels in your collection.

She looks like a pretty girl to me! There's so much variation in pastels you can find one to fill just about anyone's cup of tea.
