    Possible Ovulation? Pic heavy.

OK, this girl shed last week. She has been locking up since with 2 males, spider and possible fire for about 3 months now. I've been alternating the males. Just went out to check on the snakes before locking them up for the night and found her like this. Please tell me what you think. Should I start the countdown clock?

Na, it's not an ovulation. She could be building though. Just keep pairing. Try and get a pic of her stretched out.

That skinny tail just before the vent looks like pure building. Ovy is more pronounced and hard to miss. But my normal lady went from building one second to the build never settling down straight to Ovy and I didn't have a clue what stage she was at.

Keep pairing. And wait for that shed for count down. Good luck.

Thankyou for the responses. So, would now be the time to palpate? I know I have been around for a little while. But this is my first year actually breeding with any chance of success. I don't want to make any mistakes.

With ovulation it'll look like she ate a jumbo rat and also watch for the tail which will look like the fat was sucked out of it

Sure you can start palpating. I usaully start that when I start breeding and seeing females lighten up in color a bit.
