silly ball python
my ball python acts more like a colubrid than my corn does hes always on the move

i took him to the vet a couple of days ago because i noticed it and the vet said he was perfectly healthy after checking him and stuff and yes my vet is qualified herp vet

He may look fine, but is his husbandry set up correctly? They roam and "race around" when they are stressed or hungry. It's not normal for a ball to be acting that way...What's your set up like?

What kind of setup do you have? What are the temps like? Has he been eating consistently? My balls all peek out of their hides when I walk by, but they very rarely roam, especially during the day. I would say there is probably something wrong that is making him uncomfortable.

mine only did that the first couple weeks we had her and when the weather started changing but now that shes settled in and we have our thermostat settings figured out she hides most of the time until feeding day comes around then she hides where I tend to drop the mouse.
