Based on your description of the music that you are looking for, I suggest you check out an album by Glenn Danzig, called Black Aria.

It is nothing like any of his other albums, so if you are not a fan of his music, don't let that stop you from checking it out.
It is an amazing instrumental album that delivers a ton of emotion.
