Bee het axanthic x axanthic
Bee het axanthic x het axanthic
Spider het axanthic x pastel het axanthic
Correct me if I'm wrong!

one of the parents needs the pastel gene
one of the parents needs the spider gene
both parents need to be at least het axanthic.
tons of ways to do it but thats the minimum requirements

Re: How to produce an axanthic bumble bee?
breed a bee male to an axanthic female.
hope to produce a bee het axanthic.
take this bee het axanthic and breed it to an axanthic. 1 in 8 chance it hit it.
if u dont hit a bee het axa, but a spider het and a pastel het, raise the female and breed the male to an axanthic.
hope to produce a male axanthic combo (for example spider axa) and breed it to the pastel het axa female.
otherwise just buy a spider (het) axanthic and breed it to a pastel (het) axanthic

Re: How to produce an axanthic bumble bee?
Ok pastel and spider will both carry over to offspring with only one parent having the gene. Axanthic is recessive so both parents have to have the gene to pass on to the offspring for it to be visual. If axanthic bumble bees are where you want to be I would buy an axanthic spider (or het axanthic spider) and an axanthic pastel (or het axanthic pastel) having one parent that is visual axanthic will give you better odds of producing visual axanthic offspring... both parents being visual axanthic would make it a 1 in 4 shot at an axanthic bumblebee...this is one of those projects you can a little and get there eventually or spend alot and get there soon
