How often too clean enclosure?
I change out the newspaper or papertowel which ever I have on hand, every 5 to 7 days, and then I give the enclosure a good cleaning with a water and bleach solution every second week along with hides and water dishes.
Should this be a good enough cleaning routine to keep them healthy.

I clean everytime they pee or poop. I spray chlorohexidine down and wipe it out best i can.
Sometimes with tubs you will notice if you dont catch it in time, the urates will harden in the corners and be hard to get off. And if you use an abrasive scrubbie it will only make it worse next time, since there will be groves for it to sink into.
I have few tubs i need to replace due to this but for mean tiem i just keep cleaning and scrubbing.

Re: How often too clean enclosure?
Like Rich said I do a full tub cleaning when they pee or poop. I also use the chlorohexidine, it gets the job done and there is no fumes.

Re: How often too clean enclosure?
i spot clean when i see urates or poo. i remove the bark in that general area, that whole side if theres as mess. the cage gets a complete cleaning if its messy throughout but that spot cleaning takes care of it most of the time.

You should definitely change your paper/paper towel anytime they pee or poop. If not they're just sitting on dried up pee paper. Then I spray chlorohexidine. Tubs get the complete clean once a week. Water gets changed and bowls washed every other day. Hope this helps.

I keep mine on craft paper so I remove the whole sheet every time I see any pee or poopers. I clean/disinfect my water bowls every other day.

I use coco coir so I spot clean every day if needed and do a full break down clean either every 40-50 days or if my nose tells me it needs to be done sooner.

I use paper so I just clean evertime someone messes their cage. I spray F10 and wipe it down, replace paper. I use deli cup water bowls which I reuse once then dispose of.
