    Hey from Tucson!

    Hiiii

My name's Ary, I'm 19, and I hail from Tucson I've loved snakes for forever, but my parents? Not so much. But now, living on my own, I'm hoping to acquire my first ever snake sometime in the next year. I've been doing tons of reading, tons of research, and working at a pet store, I've been heavily considering purchasing a ball python when I'm able to.

When I was younger, for the longest of times, I wanted an albino Burmese python. I now know, given I'll be a first time snake owner, that's probably a bad idea But I do still hold a soft spot for them.

I joined BP.net because well...I am planning on becoming a snake owner sometime in the near future, and it seemed like a great place to learn and become more familiar with these awesome creatures.

I also ride horses, and I'm hoping to one day also own a horse I live with my fiancé, rooming at my friend's house. When we get our own place, we'll be bringing my cat with (he currently lives with my parents in CA), and then I'll be getting a set-up for my future snake. I've even already been throwing around some name ideas in my head

I'm really excited to see all I can learn from here, and see all of the gorgeous snakes owned by the members here. So...YAY!

Welcome to the site. There are a ton of great people on here and in Tucson. Joshua Marki is local and has a bunch of great animals. If you are looking for rodents I would recommend going through Tom's Rodent Ranch, also local to us.

    Thanks for the welcomes!

I've been noticing this in people's signatures, and I have a feeling I probably know what it means, but I want to double check.

People will say they have .1 of a snake...explain?
