Confirmed M. mesomelas female and new P. ornata female

Well I confirmed my Megaphobema mesomelas to be a definite female with her last molt (have pictures of the molt and such). I am pretty excited about that because they are one of my all time absolute favorite tarantulas!!!!

I also got a new T in today. A 4" confirmed female Poecilotheria ornata. She came from TarantulaHomes.com (they make amazing T enclosures).

Unfortunately my stupid computer is not working (possible graphics card) so I can not post pics right now. I have been posting here from my phone. I do have pics of everything though and when I get my computer fixed I will update this thread. Thanks for looking and sorry there are no pics to look at right now

Lol Well I did pay for the ornata as a confirmed female My OBT that I suspect is female just molted but I can't get to the molt without completely destroying the web. So that one is still unsexed unless it brings the molt out for me by chance

it vaguely sounds like your disproportionate streak of males might be turning around. I'm looking forward to the photo update, despite the fact that I've had to do literal research just to understand what you've highlighted in such confirmation molts.

Thanks!! Yeah, STUPID computers!!!! I will probably have more new T's before my computer gets fixed. A Poecilotheria metallica (the one I have now I am like 99.9% sure is male) and a Poecilotheria rufilata will be coming in the next couple of weeks.

Thanks Alexa!!! I love the mesomelas!! Kind of like a better version of a Brachypelma Smithi IMO. They are eaisly in my top 3 favorite T's. My Megaphobema robustum I am pretty sure is male but between that and the mesomelas I am VERY glad my mesomelas is female!!!

Thanks!!! It's very hard to see the flaps in my pics some times because my camera is not the greatest and a lot of times the tarantula is not that big so neither is the goods if you know what I mean. I think the mesomelas females molt measured in at 2 1/4" (have a pic of molt next to a tape measure) so this one will be hard to see also but you can definitely see it once you start to know what your looking for
