    Same with all the above. I have a giant Maine Coon and I've yet to have any problems. If you are really worried, make your girlfriend happy and vacuum more often.

    If it were, my snakes would all be dead by now!

    Seriously, I have 3 cats (including one Persian) and a dog in a 1br apartment... and so far it hasn't been a noticeable problem with the snakes. Just keep up with cleaning those water dishes, since that seems to be where the stray hairs land. Not that it would hurt them, considering they swallow rodent hair on a weekly basis - I just like them to have clean water.

    let see with mom's numberous cats and I kept snakes for 20 years I not had any issues outside one red tail tried to eat a cat one day cause I lefet th door open as I was wiring up heat tape and let te boa roam the room at the time. I heard a loud thump and abunch of cat hissing as the boa tried to constrict the cat. which I prevented for becomging a meal ( in my book dumb me since mom has way too many )
    lol I'm personally not a cat fan and would have let nature take its course. No offence to cat lovers.
