    My hatched out babies!

This year was the first year that we got crestie eggs and decided to hatch them out (first time we've had a breeder sized female..) The first egg hatched out as a surprise this summer, Ruby. I found her in the tank with the mother in the middle of the night (what an awesome lil surprise ). Ruby started out as a cute lil red crestie, and after taking pics today.. well she definitely isn't red anymore:

she is taking after her dad and become more bi color yellowish.

then about a month or so after that egg hatched, two more babies hatched out.. this time in a makeshift incubator. They were much more spotty then the first baby, and still more red than the first baby.

    first up is Squeak:

I cant believe how red he is in this picture (he is fired up tho).

next is Tybalt, he is also quite spotty, and doesn't have as much of a pattern like Squeak-

then, this weekend, the last 2 eggs we were incubating finally hatched (also came as a surprise... we thought that they had another month to go...)

first up is Taz, who is a complete spazz! I really hope that he calms down a bit soon... he is soo fast!

and finally we have "not taz" a much calmer version of Taz

I cant believe at how awesome these guys look, and how different they are from mom:

and the dad- I cna't wait till they all grow up a bit more

    thanks for looking!

I almost picked one up at the last expo that I went to, but didn't know anything about them. Maybe I will do some research and pick one up at Repticon when it comes to Orlando in December

Congrats! I really like the pattern on the first one. Keep us posted as it grows, I'm excited to see how it turns out if you decide to keep it.
