Aweful Shipping from pro-products.

I ordered Provent-a-Mite from http://www.pro-products.com/ the order was shipped on September 29th. It is now October 31st and I have yet to receive my order. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have contacted them by email 3 times now and although they have replied quickly, they have been of no use. I even contacted USPS and was told that they do not track the packages and have no idea where my order is. This is the only information I received about the shipping.

I find this outrageous.

I would like to know if anyone knows of somewhere in Canada I can order this product from, I was in need of it when I ordered it and am in even more need of it now as my little buddy has had to deal with the mites since then. I clean his enclosure out completely everyday, wiping it down with a water/bleach solution, including his hides and everything and replacing all substrate. He is doing a good job of drowning them on his own as well, but I hate knowing he has to deal with them.
So please if anyone knows where to order this product from within Canada, or even someone in Canada who has some on hand and would like to sell it to me I would be very grateful, name your price and let me know what the shipping will be. I will never order anything from the States again. Every time I do it is a hassle.

Just wanted to update this and say that I finally got my package on Friday Nov.25
I guess better late then never, atleast I will have it on hand if ever I have a use for it again. The mite problem has already been taken care of using other methods provided by fellow members. Thanks guys.

International shipping can take 1-4 weeks on the minimum. Since Customs do their own thing they can randomly do checks and screens.

The can was probably detected and investigated on what it was before they released it.

Did the package look like it was opeend and resealed at all. I have stuff from Japan be inspected that took 8 weeks to arrive.

No, package was not opened. And it was shipped out on Sept 29 and arrived on Nov 25. The contents were clearly marked on the packaging as well.

Customs could of did a random check, inspection on it and it got held up.

Ive received stuff like i said from Japan 1week fastest and 8 weeks the slowest. Just depends what time of year.

This is being implied for both you and the OP. USPS is horrible..... I've had the misfortune of having to use them 3 times, twice I NEVER received the package and another time I payed from next day shipping and didnt receive my package for over a month. :/ I understand what you meant though, (I have a few friends in Canada who hate buying from the states) if the opinion is available always use Fedex. What happened to you is beyond horrible and this kind of stuff should NEVER happen...

It always happens even if using Fedex. As once it leaves the States it changes hands and each country does their methods differently.

Wow going overboard are you. Its not Pro Products Fault it took this long to arrive, it was CUSTOMS FAULT and your countries/city.state shipping method that delayed it NOT PRO PRODUCTS.

You could order again and it would arrive in the normal manner. Just express you want USPS Priority mail which is 13.95 International and takes 5-14 days rather the 2-4 weeks it normally takes.
