The ruby eyes just indicate what type of C-dilute they have. Research C-dilutes in mice and you'll find that some cause ruby eyes, and others do not.
In tri colours it is a combination of 3 genes. The piebald gene (most common, other spotting genes work as well), the splashed gene, and a C-dilute gene. Without a C-dilute, the splashed gene will not show up!
Thanks for the info! I did not realize that their was a Tri colour mouse I'm excited to see what I can produce with these guys!
