Right humidity once & for ALL!

Can someone tell me the correct RH for a ball python once and for all? Some people say between 50 and 60% some say between 60 and 70% and I've also heard a few people say between 75 and 85%... Please advise. Thanks all!! BTW, this is my first post. Looks like I'm really going to enjoy this forum as I just started getting into Ball Pythons!!

I would say 50% is what most people shoot for, but when the shedding cycle kicks in, up it to 70%

BTW, I know to keep a humid hide available at all time for the Ball especially around shedding time. I'm just looking for the correct over all RH in the enclosure. THX!

There really is no "right" way, people like there stuff at different levels. Some people like there humidity higher some like it lower. As long as your snake is healthy and getting off clean sheds your fine whatever it is.

Me personally my levels stay at around 45-50% normal, then when they go blue I bump it up a ton and just keep there tub walls sprayed down until they shed then I dry them out again. This works very well for me, and I am sure you will get other different advice that works very well for other people.

I keep mine between 50 and 60% and bump up slightly during shed... But generally, 50-60% if kept constant is sufficient for good sheds...

Thanks people. 50 to 60% is what I have been hearing the most. Then like everyone said when the shed cycle begins it can get bumped up some. I think I may also keep a little humid hide in there with it so it has that option to go in if it wants. Thanks again! I appreciate it!

I keep mine at 55-65% which gets bumped 10% or so for shed cycle by moving my waterbowls to the heat tape side of the tub.

Me too... I try to hold 60% all the time I usually don't change it for sheds as long as it is basically steady at 60%

My humidity stays around 65% at all times.
