    feeding the bp

    ok so i am supposed to feed 15% of his body weight. he weighs 207grams. how much does your avg. mouse weigh? or should he be on rats already? or baby rats? dang he grows fast...

    Rats are always good so you don't have to feed multiples. A rat pup or very small crawler should be a good size.

    www.rodentpro.com lists the weight in grams along with the different mouse/rat sizes. Also you should get him on rats as soon as possible because they have more nutrition for a growing snake, they have 10% more protein, more calcium and more fat too.

    You should feed him large pups or small weaned rats, both are 30 grams which is is 15% of his body weight
