1. Can I move my male to the female one day after feed day? i normally wait 2 days after they eat to re pair
2. Will my female (1400 grams) be ready to breed with my male (700-800 grams)? yes especially since she will continue to eat for a while(well most of the time they do)
3. Should I keep moving my male to my female until I see her ovulating? Yes or if untill i see no interest after a couple repeated pairings
4. Will 3 days of mating, 3 days of resting and 1 day of feeding work? yes thats fine just make sure they had two days of rest after eating dont want to cause the snake to regurg its meal
5. How protective will my female become when she get her eggs? depends of each female. ive had ones that strike and ones that just hiss as you remove them from the eggs.
I might come up with further questions later on. I hope I will get some help
hope that helps

Yes, it did, thanks !
This will be my first attempt breeding BPs, so I am very excited about everything. I believe reading facts on the internet is easy, but to actually do it in real life will give so much more.
Will there any major difficulties to face while breeding, or is it just rock n' roll, straight forward? Sorry for asking all these questions, just want to make sure I am not making any mistakes or totaly screw up.

I agree. At least 2 days after feeding. I made the mistake of puting my pied male in with my bumblebee female the next morning after feeding. I guess she got stressed and she regurged. I pulled her from breeding until next season because of it . A lesson learned that i will never repeat

Yes I feel there is no better way to learn than to do it yourself and see what works for you. theres so many ways to do this stuff that everyone basically works off everyone changing things here and there. Just keep a close eye on the snakes and check for any signs of stress. Breeding season takes quite a toll on them so just monitor them and follow the guide lines and you should be just fine. Theres nothing wrong with asking questions the only stupid questions are the ones not asked. Best of luck to you and anything you need to know theres plenty of us on here that can walk you through it.

Things happen and this is how we learn the proper way to breed\keep these animals. Trail an error. I bred 4 girls last year and didnt get anything so dont worry crummy things happen to everyone in this community
