UTH only?
55g tank with a UTH made for it from zoo meds.
30g tank with a UTH made for it.
Is this ok my room temp is 70 in my apartment.
No heat lamps. My light went out & got no ride to get new lights. Plus the lamps lower the humidity

70 is too low for the ambient. id say get infrared light or CHE as soon as you can. And there are ways you can do to keep your humidity like using cypress, foiling the screen top etc.

CHE? I have heat lamps on hot side normally. The lamp is broke.
So what size lamp will raise the cool side from 70 to the needed range?
Also the probe is in the hide on the hot side. It's 82 but the 2nd probe is ontop of the hot side hide it says 92.

Ceramic Heat Emitter. 50 watts for the 30 gallon and 75watts for the 50.

I'm assuming this is because of the lamp above the warm side...
Aim for keeping the surface underneath the hide at around 88. The temperature on top of the hide is not as important, but it should not exceed 92. When it comes to raising ambient temperatures, you may have more luck using just the UTH on the warm side for the basking spot and using the lamp(s) on the cool side to bump the ambient. But it's really a matter of experimentation.

75 is sufficient, but 80 is fine. And during the night 70 is perfectly fine, as long as the warm side stays in the high 80's.

Ok if I move the heat lamp to the cool side won't the hot side cool down? Surely inside the hide willbe toasty because of the UTH.

The warm side ambient may cool down a little bit, but as long as the surface temp underneath the warm-side hide stays in the high 80's it's fine.
