The Rainbow Bridge always brings a tear. Especially after the loss. I had to euthanize one of our pet rats a few nights ago. U wouldn't think, having foodies rats, and the slitheries it would be upsetting, but she was a special little girl. After weaning, she was a weeeeee runt. All her brothers were 5x (or more) bigger than she was. We almost lost her, and had to bed her down in a washcloth with a heat lamp, give her syringes of Ensure to revive her. She lived another two years after saving her but never got very big. She would lick your hand and groom you when you pet her behind her ears.
I didn't think I'd really like a hairless dumbo, and R called her "Sausage". (My sister only had a quick glimpse once, and thought she was a baby pig). LOL I think she was a throw-back to our Peekaboo, she was so gentle. I'm going to miss our Goober.
