anyone familiar with herpcages.com?
I ran across these and they are fairly priced and they look great too but I'm wondering how they would hold humidity does anyone have these set up for their bp's? Sorry if this is in the wrong spot

I have four of those cages I took in on a trade. I have two that are 3' long and a couple smaller ones. I think one of the smaller ones are 12"x12"x18" tall and one is 18"x18"x24". They are pretty nice cages, nothing fancy and probably not strong enough for larger snakes but for balls they should work nicely. They have a couple screen that will need covered to hold humidity but that should be easy enough to do. I have a juvenile Burm and a 4' columbian red tail in the two larger enclosures. That's about as much as I would put in them but they work pretty well.

I just looked at the web site I get why you are looking at them. They make a back vent version that I'd go with as it will hold humidity with out sacrificing air flow.

I was thinking about getting a rack set up but these look like they can be stacked and since I olny have 1 snake at the moment this may be the route I'm gonna take plus I live in an apartment so I can't just heat the whole place to accomidate a rack set up

Just remember most racks really do best in rooms that are basically 80ºF steady. That might be a problem in an apartment.

That's why I wanted these herpcages so I can stack them and take up less room without having to heat the whole place

I have only considered them for Crested Geckos, but I have heard many amazing reviews of the quality of product and customer service. I have been told on a few occasions that owner is more than helpful and is willing to answer any questions you have pertaining to his products.
