This seems more like Fear Factor for snakes. I mean they must be terrified, being thrown in a tub with a human.

It can't be healthy to put that many snakes in a tight space together. They'd either get crushed or catch a disease or just generally get stressed out.
Besides, if they wanted to scare someone, adult corns would have been the way to go. Way squirmier and not as soft.
