Clutch Sizes
What is the average clutch size? From what I have seen read it seems like maybe 4 to 6. What is the biggest clutch you have seen?

I believe six is average, the largest I've seen was thirteen but heard of larger.

My lone female last year laid 11 eggs.

It depends on a lot of things, typically small female lay small and large females lay big, but even then, that's not always the case. 4 is a small clutch, I would say 6-7 is about average. There have been a lot of 11-13 clutches out there, and some larger ones of course.

Re: Clutch Sizes
Thanks for the input. Trying to figure out how big of a rack I should look to get in the next couple of months for when we try to breed next year hopefully so we are ready for the little ones.

Re: Clutch Sizes
This year all my clutches were between 5-8 eggs with the average being 6 but all of my females are still young, didnt have anything over 2kilos, I have seen females that are huge and will drop 10+egg clutches yearly. I have heard of a clutch of 15
