Opinions Wanted
Hi all,
I am stuck between two similar choices for my next project. I am looking for your opinions on what you would personally do.
Now I know most of you will just say choose which one you like best, but there's good and bad points on each choice.
I will say, though, that I like Butters more than Mojaves, but I already have a lead male with the Butter gene in him.
Check my signature to see what I currently have.
I was originally going to just buy a Pastel Enchi and Pastel female. But then I thought, why not add a third gene?
So, my first option was to purchase a Butter Enchi male and an Adult Pastel female. I would have to search out a Pastel female.
My second option is to purchase a Pastel Enchi male and an Adult female Mojave. This certain Mojave used to be mine, and was sold to a friend. He wants to do a trade back for her. So I know she is healthy and in good shape. However, she just laid a few months back.
Both options cost me about the same cash wise.
This year I am buying a Vanilla female. Next year I am purchasing a Clown female and a Firefly male. Keep these options in mind.
Next season, I plan on pairing the resulting male holdback (if all goes well) (so either a Pastel Enchi Mojave or a Pastel Enchi Butter) to my Piebald female.
If I went the Pastel route, I would have 3 chances next season to create Super Pastel Enchi Butters. However, if I went the Mojave route, I would simply create BEL's that may be Enchi.. Not positive I would be able to tell the difference. However, I will have a firefly male.
Sorry for the Novel, but I am very indesicive and this is the most important snake I will purchase, I want to do it right.
Thanks.
